I made this runner as a piano scarf for a friend, sort of based on a pattern I downloaded. But the binding directions are the generic directions for a regular 90 degree corner. How do you make a neat turn at the pointed end?

I probably can figure out the slight angle where the taper begins, but how do you turn at the pointy end? I searched the board but didn't find anything. Help???

Picture is kind of weird. This thing is 8.5" wide by 57" long!

Put a square ruler on it. I'll bet you find out the end points are 90°. The corners are 130° and you bind them the same way. You fold the fabric so the fold lines up exactly with the corner and then fold the fabric straight up and then back down.

Nice table runner too!

Marcie does go thru that weird angle a bit quickly, but watch how she folds it on the back to get a neat mitre on the back.
