I live in Manitoba, Canada, and we have rented a house in Lake Havasu, California for Jan, Feb, Mar 2012. Do any of you live near that community?

Yes, Lake Havasu is on the CA - AZ border. Friends of my mother live there. Mother lives in Yuma AZ.

Ah, Lake Havasu. I spent a week camping there 100 years ago (or it seems like 100 years). Back in my Wild and Crazy days.
Fond memories.

Isn't that in Arizona where they have re-constructed the London Bridge?
Visited once ... but prefer the trees/green hills of mid/central USA.

I've been through there a few times on the way to Laughlin (a small gambling/casino town) nearby. One thing you really need to do is stop at the In-N-Out Burger restaurant and have a double-double and fries. Best burgers on the west side of the country. Add a chocolate shake and you'll be hooked on this place forever! It's right next to the London Bridge.

I miss In-N-Out burgers... we don't have them in our area and sometimes I really get a hankering for one... like right now!!
