Default What is your favorite strip piecing book?

I am looking at the CozyQuilts.com books, but am finding it rather difficult to pay $18+shipping for a book of six patterns when I can't see what the patterns are.

I went over to cozyquilts.com. I clicked on the Strip Clubbing books and once you click on them that page has a link that says, "Click here to see patterns in this book". If you click on that link it takes you to a page that has the patterns.

Personally I love Quilt In A Day strip piecing patterns. I especially like the Trip Around the World.

Open a Can of Worms and Noodle Soup are both great strip piecing books by Debbie Caffrey.

Look for books for Jelly Rolls...they are strip pieced.

Still Stripping After 25 Years by Eleanor Burns. Lots of patterns using 2 1/2" strips.

Thanks! I didn't realize that about the stripping books. Not quite what I was looking for. Will check out the others too.

Did you try Moda Bakeshop for free patterns? Here is the link:

When I am book shopping, I like to check out Connecting Threads or Amazon first because sometimes they show pages inside. You might also check out your local library. If you find one you like, then you could order it.

Cozy quilts also offers individual patterns. While I think the colors of their samples are not always what I would choose, I do love their patterns. I have made several of them and a friend has made most of them--from the books as well. They have good directions, the patterns go together easily and accurately. That said, I also have several of Eleanor Burns' books and have used them too.
