    I used jumbo rick rack on a quilt top a few months ago and did a wide zig zag stitch to hold it down. I liked the way that worked for me.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably end up doing it by hand and tacking each end down. More work, but it will show less. Thank goodness there's not lots of it to do, but it will look soooo cute when finished.
