I want to find a pattern for a quilted toe warmer. It is a small quilt 30" wide and the length of the width of the bed. I live in the S and don't need a quilt all summer-even with air. This just goes at the foot of the bed to add a decorative touch and keep your toes warm! I know I can adapt a quilt, but would like a pattern for one. I googled it and didn't find any. Can anyone help me?

If memory serves me right it was Kayewood who "started" the rage about the little strip quilt that was placed at the bottom of the bed covers. If you have a favourite block just make enough to cover the space you want it....and go for it.

Am I the only one who pictured a little mitten to go over my toe? I do think those runners are pretty though.

I was thinking of a lap type quilt with a pocket for the footies on the back of it.

Sort of a qwillow type thing.

I think one could take a table runner pattern and just make it longer.

Good idea. There are some beautiful table runner patterns that would be great!
