My Daughter made a quilt with toile it was very pretty. I think she used large enough blocks to see the pattern. used sashing in between. It turned out very pretty. I don't see many quilts I don't like.

This life is the only one you get - enjoy it before you lose it.
Mistysmom idea for the storm at sea on point is beautiful! I love toile, especially the black and white. Please let us know what you decide to do.
I had some and made shopping bags out of it because I didn't really have enough for a quilt and they turned out really nice and interesting to look at.

I used a funny toile that had skeletons to make an attic window wall hanging. Just to show you how toile looks in attic windows. Ignore the orange.

I promise not to buy any more fabric until I see something I really like. Or it's on sale. Or I think it might match something.
I love toile. I have it in different colors and yardages, just because I like it. This is a great pattern and I hope I have enough of one of the colors to make this quilt. We remodeled 3 years ago and some of my fabric is still in boxes in our garage. I guess it is time to get it out!
Misty's Mom, your quilt is beautiful. Also, I think an Irish Chain (which is easy) would show off the focus fabric.
I would use any pattern that leaves a large block of fabric uncut such as BQ by Maple Island.
A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
Again, let me state. This is not my quilt. It belongs to Marion E. I saved the image as I wanted to make it at some point. So, all the wonderful comments go to Marion E.
