It looks very nice -- makes me want to make one. I especially like the effect of the gray background. If it were me, I'd probably take some photos with dark green fabric laid over the main border, just to be sure. But I think you have it right. Great job!

I like it the way it is. This is a T-shirt quilt and the emphasis should be on the shirts. After all, the quilt is being made to show off the T-shirts. Your batik inner border add a bit of color without detracting from the center.

I really don't like T-shirt quilts but I love the way you have set yours. But I do think the inner border should have been something a little different. Maybe the aqua color in the center bottom.

I like it! The shadowed blocks are perfect for the t-shirts. I agree that the narrow border doesn't show that much, but it is noticeable and like others said, doesn't take away from the t-shirts.

Oh My! This is done so well. Kids (even 30yr olds) love the dark colors. I say it's perfect. I love what you did to the Tshirt blocks. She will love it!

I'm not a fan of T-shirt quilts, but I really love this one! I'm adding my vote to the "you got it just right" pile.

This was my thought too.

I like it. One thing I'd probably do with it to brighten it a little bit is couch a yarn in either a mustard yellow or that yellow-green color (or even that teal color) between the 2 borders or between the inner border & the main block.

The other option would be to pick a bright color to quilt the border. But all in all, it's a very nice looking quilt. I usually detest T-shirt quilts, but that one is really attractive.
