Maybe she was hinting around for you to give her one :-P You like having your beautiful quilts on display and that's what matters. I bet your quilts look great the way you have them. Now if a quilter came into your home would they ever say "your house looks too quilty?" Hardly. I say balderdash about her comment! :)

It's your house & you love your quilts, so don't be afraid to display them however, & how many, you want. It's no one else's business & no one should say that to you. Remember, those who mind don't matter, & those who matter don't mind! They don't live there, it's not their home, so what gives them they right, & who cares anyway! Enjoy your quilts & all the work that went into them!....

Good thing your relative doesn't have to live in a "quilty" house. He or she needs to go to their own non-quilty home.

It's your house, you decorate it the way you want. If your relative thinks it's "too quilty" she can stay home.

Personally, I think quilts make a house a "home".

I agree with all the comments. Right now, I can count 4 in just my den. And one is on the floor, for DGDs to play on. Most of my quilts are made to enjoy, and we do enjoy them. Tell the relative to stay home, lol.

I think that if you want to have hundreds of quilts displayed in your house, after all, it's YOUR house. Who cares what someone else says or thinks?

Never too many quilts. It's your house and if they don't like it, stay home.

Your house - your choice. Only too many if you think it is too many. No one else should make that call.
