If not under it on top of it...but always surrounded by love.

Give them when they are ready. It is never to warm for a quilt. They can always lay on top of it.

Your thoughtful gesture will be appreciated by the children as well as the parents. They need to know somebody cares.

I agree with everyone, and bless you for being so kind to the new family.

Give the quilts...I live in a "hot humid" climate and still use my quilts. Actually, being all cotton, they feel "cool" against your skin. And with AC sometimes the kiddies get cold, especially during nap time. My DGBs have to have their "blankies" just to snuggle with while napping. And they do make great "forts"! LOL We play "forts" all the time!

I agree! I don't think anyone would look at the quilt and think it's too hot to use it. My son sleeps under 4 of my quilts (plus 3 fleece blankets) every night, summer or winter. He cannot get enough blankets!! I say give the gift from your heart and watch them enjoy it.

Cheers!

Giving a quilt = giving love. There's no bad time or season!
