Top with just binding?

I prefer sparing use of borders -- I think it's a more pleasing look to do away with them often.
One thing that might be useful to you once you have your pieced top completed -- stitch all around the perimeter of the quilt a scant 1/4 inch in -- this stay stitching will secure the edge seams and keep the quilt from distorting as you handle it for layering, basing and quilting.

Great ideas.
After all your input, I have decided to skip the border.
I searched last night for additional charm packs, not having much luck, I ordered layer cakes. The fabric design I'm working with was released a year ago and I'm lucky I found what I did.
I feel it's a good lesson to learn for future projects, especially when working with pre-cuts that have been around awhile.
