I have a quilt with a red patterned background. I am putting a wreath in the middle block 15 X15. If I am putting this work into it I want it to show. Any ideas on what kinds of thread would show up the best. I have 40 wt 100% cotton but it doesn't show up that much. (King Tut) Think my main problem with this wall hanging quilt is that I used pretty thick batting so the stitches sink into it!! I love thread and have many brands and weights. Will have to be green as it is holly leaves that make up the wreath. Maybe a heavier cotton thread than 40?? Thanks!
