    I was just informed that I will get a treadle FREE from a friend of a friend. I am so excited!

    Congrats on your great deal!! I LOVE my 1917 Singer "Redeye" (notice my avatar). I cannot believe how beautful the stitches are on the old girl. I really think it would sew leather if I needed it to. You're going to really love yours after about 10 minutes of learning how to thread it and get the rhythm of the treadle.
