I just made a Mariner's Compass block with hst using Triangulations 2.0. It was only the size that goes with the pattern but I'm thinking of getting the Triangulations 2.0. I thought it was easy and made bunches at a time and the squares were perfect! It's basically a disk of pdf files:

Triangulations 2.0 takes half-square and quarter-square triangle construction to a whole new level. Imagine the freedom of having any size triangle foundation in your hands at the touch of a button.

Runs on any PC or Mac computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader
Half square triangle foundations sizes 1/2" to 7 1/2" in 1/8" increments!
Formatted to fit standard 8 1/2" x 11" computer paper
Print as few or as many as you need!
Four bonus Triangulations patterns

Good! That's what I was wondering. I know it worked like a charm with my pillow. I'll get it! Thanks

Is it hard to keep the fabric from shifting around while you're sewing?

I didn't have any problems with shifting. You could use pins but it wasn't necessary since the fabric pieces were about the size of a regular sheet of paper. Easy to control.

Looks interesting. I may need to get that. Does it really make it easier?

It really helps you put out the hst, etc. If you are very clever, you can make different colored hst with the same sheet, but I haven't figured out how to get that done. Making a Mariner's Compass with HST ... I will have to go back and look at the pattern again! That is a concept I had never considered. (That is what I get for being narrow minded, eh? LOL)

I printed out a sample a while back and I really like it. The paper did not shift on me, the blocks were very accurate, and it was very fast to do :D I would love to get this prgram to be able to different sized blocks.
