Yes, that series of pics on site above is what I was trying to explain verbally at the beginning....it is basically a whip stitch, but with " open" hexies...it doesn't show on front.......thanks for going deeper and finding theirs for those who needed them.......

Yes, would love a video on this. Not having done hexies, here's a question. After sewing the hexies together, how do you get the paper template out if it's glued in ? ( I realize it's fabric glue ) If I ever try this, I think I'll cut plastic templates and punch a hole in the centers.
