Default Tried out my new Janome DC2011 tonight...

She isn't hard to use at all. I still have to get used to not having to move the needle when I finish a seam; I still reach for the wheel to move it. lol I also have to get used to the measurements on her. But other than that, I am loving her! She is super quiet! I love the #3 stitch that does the back stitch at the beginning. Still getting used to that too as I always had to sew a few stitches, move my length bar to go back, sew, then move the bar back to my desired length width. But I am glad I started on an old machine. I won't take for granted what the old machine can do, with no computer.

So for all those out there that got new machines for Mother's Day, how is it going for you? Is there a learning curve? Do you like the new machine compared to the old one?

I didn't get a new machine, I have two I use all the time. Juki TL98QE and Babylock Jane, both straight stitch machines. Sound like you are enjoying your new machine. There is always a bit of a learning curve with a new or different machine.
