Triplet baby girls' quilts? Any ideas?

I like turquoise as well, and for the pattern I would use chevrons. They are bright and graphic, so I think they'd be great for babies. It can be done with one fabric, but I would make it scrappy. Congratulations on your huge blessing! Can't wait to see them all snuggled in their quilts.

You mention some yummy colors. Maybe I should go totally out of the box and no pink or purple but just other colors. I know they would love lime green. Hmmm mango sounds yummy. I might need to run some of these colors by my 16 yr old helper quilter.

this is the one I thought of to you could applique there names in the center.
Awhile back someone posted this pattern I thought it was so cute and cleaver I made it I love how differnt all three quilts are yet all the same it was fun to do too. If its not big enough you could add a second row of borders mixing up the fabrics even more so.

My only suggestion is to make the quilts different enough that it is easy to see whose is whose. Of course, that may not matter really, but I can see a toddler carrying around her own quilt and being able to identify it easily because it was mainly one color. Or a busy mom trying to figure out which quilt goes to which baby.
And then again, it probably wouldn't matter if they get mixed up....all for one and one for all, and all that. I suspect triplets share everything, at least for a long time.

Personally, I dislike super matchy-matchy stuff for twins (or triplets) - probably mostly because I had friends who were identical twins and they absolutely HATED how most of their stuff matched or coordinated, since they were very different individuals. And even though my sister & I are 5 years apart, I never liked it when we got matching stuff either. We actually would get matching quilts from our grandma every few years and those were my least favorite. I much preferred something that was unique and was for ME specifically as an individual, not "oh I need two of these".
Infants aren't going to know or care, obviously, and it's going to be awhile before their personalities start to really show you who would like what, but for me, I'd make them drastically different. If I were a parent of twins or triplets I might like matchy stuff more though, and at this age you're making the quilts more for mom & dad than for the girls, I think.
Wow. No help from me, huh? LOL
