trouble downloading JPEG files for embroidery designs
#1
I recently got a Brother PE 770 embroidery machine which I love. My problem is that when I download a design off the internet, I only get the PES file and not the JPEG file. Without the JPEG file, I am unable to identify the PES file when I put the thumb drive into the embroidery machine. How do you download the JPEG file along with the PES file? Any help would be REALLY appreciated. :)

I right click and save image as...hope that helps. I have a Bernina 830 but I use Embird for editing and such and have for over 10 years. It shows me the emb design and until Windows did its lovely little upgrade I could see the picture in the file..but now I have to go thru Embird to see it.No biggy deal..just and extra step for me.

Left click on the photo to select it, then right click on it, click "save picture as" & save it in your folder. Many sites allow photo downloading/saving, but some sites block the option of downloading/saving the photos/jpeg files.

Usually the design comes with both pes and jpg. Just download both after you do an unzip (if that's the way the design comes). also there are some great inexpensive programs that will show the design without the jpg file. I use Sew Iconz and it was only $20.00. I LOVE it. I can browse and see all my designs.

I download all the time. When a jpeg is included in the zip file, do the following: Hold your control key down on your keyboard, (CTRL) and then click on the jpeg and then the design file, (mine are pes) and both lines within the file should be highlighted, then selcet copy and save to your hard drive.
