Trying to find out about this pattern, help from the Experts.

I found these two patterns on Pinterest, Wind Mill I, and Hexagonal Pinwheel, (among others on her site). The site is, pinkcaramelsy.blogspot.com, and it is in Japaneze(sp) but can be translated to English.I have tried to see if the patterns are available for purchase, but keep running into a dead end. So hoping someone can find out if these two and some of her other patterns are available and how to purchase them. Thank you for any light you can shed on this, have a great Monday, blessings, vickie

Did you e-mail the that lady? She did say the patterns were original, may not be on the market. She could probably give you some info.

Yes, if there is a contact address, go and try to send her an email.

I tried to find the pattern for the pinwheel a couple times. never did. I just drew up a PP version.

I have seen the pinwheel pattern somewhere, but I am sure you can make one. It is just a hexagon with strips around it like a log cabin. There was a free pattern on her site for the Wind Mill one, but the link has been crossed off. Nice quilts.
Love the quilts that are coming out of Japan. The colors are serene, with intricate blocks and appliques. I remember one quilt that had so much to see that it was hard to walk away from it.

go to quilt blocks galore there are several pinwheel patterns there, not all have the name "pinwheel" but many are there.. Love her patterns have used them a lot over the years.. good luck.. add your own twist to the designs to make it your own idea.

I've done something similar using a Cut Loose pattern for a mug rug and table toppers with Spirals Table Topper Pattern. Both start with a hexi in the center and you just add strips around it. Neither of them are difficult.
