I recently bought this quilt at an auction and would love to have the pattern to make this block. It doesn't look terribly complicated. I have been admiring it and can't wait to make one; hopefully someone can help me out.

I love that block but am not familiar with it. When you locate it, please share the the name of it with the rest of us.

Can you tell if the flower and leaves are appliqued or pieced to the background? The flower looks like it is 3 pieces, with the square about 1/4 the width of the block. You could trace each of the colored pieces, then add seam allowance, for your own pattern!

Can you put the end of the quilt on your printer and print out a photo of one of the blocks? Cut each piece apart then add the seam allowance onto the paper pieces? That would be my suggestion. Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b

Can anyone tell how old it is from the fabrics. I am wondering if it is one of those old newspaper blocks.
