That is the story of my life, especially with my quilting supplies and equipment.

I tend to do that a lot, too. Of course, my problem is I'm a terrible housekeeper, so the place is beginning to look like some of those on the hoarders show.... well, maybe not quite that bad, but it's getting there. Don't you just hate when that happens?

Funny that happened to me last weekend. I spent hours looking for it - finally found it hiding behind my cutting table behind the floor heater. Next time I lose something that will be the first place I look.

Frustrating! Mine was missing for weeks and just before I accused DH of privatising it for some manly purpose, I found it (upright, than goodness) in the bag of fabrics that went along to a morning of sewing. Dead give-away that that specific project had not moved forward in yonks!

My dresden rulers went into a very safe place, now I am going through all of my hiding places (and tearing apart the sewing room) to try to find it.

Yep. That's how I found my SID foot . . . right where I had been looking for it and not recognizing it!
