Default Advice Needed Please

I want to print a label and then iron it to my quilt. What's the best brand to buy? Thanks.

I used the ones I purchased and they were great - however I don't have the packing any longer. I did buy them at JoAnn's if that helps you at all.

It is relatively cheap to have a completed, woven label made with your own message and name on it. You usually have to order them in lots of 50 or more.

I bought a pkg of 4 labels that iron on (I think at Joann's). Will consider ordering some because I'm not always near a Joanns when I need one. Does anyone know where I can order them?

You can create your label on your computer then print it out on fabric on your printer. There are tutorials here on the board as well as on YouTube on how to do it. After you have it printed out on fabric, you can apply fusible to it and iron it on your backing fabric. I apply it to the backing BEFORE the quilt gets quilted, that way it is not only fused but the quilting will stitch through it insuring that the label won't come loose after several washings.

I haven't bought any labels, not close to Joanns, I do my own and then sew it on to the quilt.

I did a written tute on Making Your Own Quilt Labels for the QB. Do a search. I make my own labels and they turn out great.
