Went to the lqs today for the first time in ages, to drop off a top to have quilted (never done that before). The quilter had a finished quilt ready to give back to its owner, with a lovely design, so I was reassured about her. And the woman who came to pick it up is a lady from my church! Turns out I do know someone who quilts (I thought I didn't)!

Isn't it fun when you find someone to share the hobby with

Is there a quilting group that you might join? Check the internet for the meeting times and just go. Quilters welcome everyone. You will have so much fun that you will wonder what took you so long to find a quilting group.

The only quilter I know other than everyone here ;) is the receptionist at my childrens pediatricians office.

It's too bad that neither of us actually has any free time to get together (she has triplet teenage boys)!

Maybe you can plan on sewing at the church to get the other members involved for a sew day

If you keep hanging out at your LQS, you'll probably find more quilters you know.
