Yes you can fit a lot of things in either bag but be careful--you still have to pick it up to put in the car. I found out the hard way.

I have used my to carry all my small stuff when I go to a class, including a light and an iron. I agree with Nona that it would be nice if it had a wheel set. Sometimes I have too much for it to fit on my Tutto roller.

Sheri - I have the same bag plus my tutto and a case for my machine embroidery unit (which I'm thinking I'll use for other things as that machine is really too heavy to move.) Anyway, my sewing box is a bait box from Gander Mtn. And holds all my stuff and then some. It fits nicely in this bag along with a box for all my needles, a spray bottle of water, a bottle of Mary Ellen's Best Press, extension cords, rulers, and a surge protector. I just sit it on top of the rolling tote and pull it along. My 24" ruler either goes into the tote bag or I put it into one of the side pockets on the rolling bag. So easy to pull everything along - don't know how I ever lived without it. So much better than the ones that tilt to roll. Lots of pockets on both for other "stuff". My friend uses the bungee cord to hold hers onto the roller but I just sit mine on top - too lazy to use the bungee, I guess!!!

The bag did look kind of big when I first got it, but I'm so glad it is!!

A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
