I made one too!! And I couldn't find any at the second hand stores around here but WalMart carries them for around $8.50 I think.

Great , I love mine. I just use the tv tray top as the size . I just padded and stapled it on. Yippie. Works great at my side for small projects.

That's what I do as well. And a small cutting mat. I use mine generally when PP'ing as that's such a tedious process. Rest of my piecing I'm usually chaining a bunch so I take the break and get up to iron at my cutting/ironing table.
