    Twin size pattern you like?

I'm on the tail end of a king sized Blooming Nine Patch for my daughter. Because she is more cold natured than her husband she wants a twin size using similar batiks but a different pattern. She likes more contemporary patterns. What would be your suggestion?

I recommend using leftover fabric (and buying more as needed) and making a version of the jelly role race quilt. I've done it a couple of times, paying no attention to the strip length specified in the "pattern." My twin-size quilts have turned out to be gorgeous. They have a contemporary look. People ask me where I bought the "kit." The beauty is in the uniqueness of the fabrics used.
