Twister Patterns

Twister Patterns
Hi,
Ok, I have been bitten by the Lil Twister Quilt Pattern Bug. I picked up the 3.5" template. Now that I am home I wish I would have found a book to go with it.
Are there any patterns out there to make a baby quilt? I understand that there is a big down size once you cut out your template pieces from your original block lay out. So, I am wondering how big the original block lay out has to be for a baby quilt using the 3.5 template.
Thanks for any tips, can't wait to make something with this little piece of plastic.

here's a tut that uses the small twister http://happyquiltingmelissa.blogspot...quilt-for.html
it may be a size to use for a baby quilt

Thank you, I went to the site, very nice directions. I am going to try and make it 48" square to start with and hope I end up with something in the range of 30-36" for a finished twister baby quilt. Then I can add more border if needed.

If you have the small twister, it cuts 3.5" square (so 3" finished). So, for your 36" finsihed quilt, you need 12x12 blocks = 144 blocks. The blocks start at 5", so you need 144 5" squares to end up with a 36" quilt from your twister ruler.
