Ok so while waitin for my twister tools and instructions to arrive, I decided to use my GoBaby and cut out some squares of scrap fabric. well my die cuts 4 1/2" squares. soooooo I started putting them altogether. I made up a 3 1/2" template out of cardboard. Marker it with 3/4 on 3 sides and 1" on the other. My prob is I cannot get it lined up correctly. Should I try 3/4" on all 4 sides or do I need to start with a smaller sized template?????????

3 1/2" twister uses 5" squares according to directions. Also the post on board was in error I think - my Lil Twister is 3/4" on all side. Did you include a 3" border around squares before cutting?

Havent cut anything yet.. no I have not got to the border yet. still sewing those squares together lol.. I stopped to make sure it was going to work out before I sewed anymore together. Funny thing was.. my Dh saw it with just the squares sewed together and said oh that is neat! heck I could just tie it up and he would think it was the greatest thing I ever did. lol.. He has no clue on this stuff. lol Thank you I will try to change my template and see how it works. how big of abroder do you think I will need? still 3 1/2"?
