How about this one. It is a 9 patch alternating with a rail fence, set on point.

Last night on Pinterest I searched for Charity Quilt Patterns--that is what I do most, charity quilts.
There was one that they basically took plain very wide strips and sewed them together. It had a wide stripe look. I kind of liked it and it would be very quick. I plan to try it.

I can't actually remember the size strips....it wasn't really a pattern, I just sort of did it or copied it, maybe. But, surely it was 2 1/2 strips. You might experiment with one block or two before you commit to that.

Not much help, am I? Wait, I can go measure. ....Okay, it was 2 1/2 inch strips.

I always like a classic 2 color pinwheel. YOu can make them any size you want.

Look at some of the Dissappearing Hourglass quilts on QB to see if you want to try one. The DHG is a Missouri Stár Quilt Co. Tutorial. I it did a 12 inch block tutorial for Dissappearing Hourglass on QB.
