I just bought two pieces of fabric that I was going to use to make an apron. Now I'm having 2nd thoughts. The fabric beautiful and has a very nice hand to it. One is called swirling feathers and a fairly small print in very dark to lighter turqoise. The other is striped with the dark and light turquise plus some red, yellow and white tiny stripes. I'm looking for a pattern for the two with possibly a blender to bring them together. Any suggestions?

    Also, NO triangles!

It is difficult to give an opinion without seeing the fabrics as scale and pattern play a large part in the overall appearance.

Shoot. Have a camera but don't know how to use it! I'll try when my son comes home.

Road Trip. It's two colors and no triangles. I can't remember who makes it but I have the pattern.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my post! I was surfing around and found the "Bow Tie" on about.com that looks doable. Even though it has a triangle, it doesn't look that hard.
