    I'm tying a quilt that my DH's grandmother made. How long do you leave the ends? This is a Dresden Plate and I'm tying it at each petal corner so lots of ties.

    It's a personal preference. I leave mine about an inch or a little less. Please show us your quilt when your done:)

    I leave mine about an inch, Im not sure what the proper length should be. Do show us a photo when its finished! Dresden's are so pretty.
