Aha, I think this will be the ideal method for this cottagy quilt! I plan to tie at the back with little X's on the front in a white crochet cotton. Anyway my question is this (not having much luck with google) I'd like a little more loft for this method but don't want a polyester (a small percentage is OK). Does anyone know of a medium loft batting in a cotton, cotton blend or bamboo?

Thanks, QB'rs!

What about Warm & Natural batting. I haven't used it, but heard of others who have.

Doesn't Quilters Dream have several different lofts?

Warn and Natural is all I have ever used but it doesn't give you the loft like poly or poly/cotton battings do.

I use W & N all the time, but it does not have the medium loft. Quilter's Dream does and I thank you very much for the name! It's 100% cotton and allows up to 8" between quilting and I plan for about 4 - 4 1/2". It's not expensive and I think will fill the bill! Thanks Danni!
