If you are talking about the Simplicity rotary cutter, I had one, used it once and then it sat for about 2 years. I just sold it about a month ago. I thought I had to have it and got it as a gift when they first came out. I found it difficult to keep the strips straight when cutting. You would be better off spending your money on more fabric to be cut with your hand rotary cutter and ruler! If you do a search on this subject here on the board, that is the general feeling.

Do you mean the one that's popular on the board?? I can't think of the name of it but a lot of people love them.

You might want to invest in a June Tailor Shape Cut ruler instead. I love mine. It's easy to use and the cuts are very accurate.

How funny that this should be posted today. Yesterday I used my June Tailor Shape Cut for the very first time to cut some 2.5" strips...I'm ashamed to say that I've had it for at least two years, and just never used it. WOW! It is beyond awesome! So easy to cut strips of any size, and much easier to use than the Simplicity rotary cutting machine, which I also own. The strips were dead-on accurate. I would recommend the June Tailor ruler to anyone.

I've heard nothing good about that simplicity cutter. I am happy using my rotary cutter or my big shot pro. For now.
