    Thanks to everyone with the tips! Part of my issue I think was a operator error and the other was a dumb moment. I followed the instructions from Kathy about where the thread makes the X and this seemed to help. Now I am going to just be patient...lol. I have a long way to go to be a good quilter. ....lol However I made my next block and it looks better. I have issues on matching seams elsewhere but I will work on one imperfection at a time. Thanks again.
