Using minky for the label on a minky backed quilt
I am thinking of using minky fabric for my label. It will be the same minky I've used for the back of my quilt. Has anyone done this and is there any tips I might need to know? Like what kind of stabilizer that would be best with my embroidery machine. Do I need to use a certain type of stabilizer for the top of my minky label?

Embroidering minky is similar to embroidering fleece or plush towels but has it's own issues. Since it's stretchy you have to be careful hooping it. Since it's a label and the back won't show, I'd use a cut away, securing the minky with 505 spray. Use a wss on top, I use Pellon Sol U Film Lite for topping. A wide font will embroider and look better than a narrow one.
