There is one I have heard of and want to check out..... "The Cherry Pit". It is in Sevierville (a few miles up the road from Gatlinburg).

    Here is their website: http://www.cherrypitquiltshop.com

    I would check Google out:

Looks like there are 3 of them in the surrounding area.

Don't know where you will be coming from but Lancaster county, PA is reachable (day trip distance) to the north and somewhat east of Gettysburg. Lots of quilt stores there. If you are coming in from north you might want to hit that area on your way.

Needle & Thread, 2215 Fairfeild Rd, Gettysburg - close to Cashtown & Ortanna - lots of Civil War fabric & stuff to make costumes. Large variety .

Quilt Patch on Hanover Pike, between Hanover & Littlestown. It's been awhile since I've been here. They used to carry lots of kits, books, patterns & beautiful fabric. Also a store here with lace & curtains, interior decor.

Danners Bernina Shoppe - 551 Beck Mill Rd, Hanover- a Bernina dealer, has fabric, thread, kits, and quilt stuff!

I don't know of any shops closer to Gettysburg - but I've been to these. I like Needle & Thread the best.

Gatlinburg is in Tennessee,a ways away from Gettysburg Pennsylvania. There are a couple shops just outside of Gettysburg we stopped at on our way in, then we took a day trip to Harrisburg and Lancaster county. Intercourse, Pa has some Great shops. We loved our trip to Gettysburg.
