I buy quite a few things online. Often they don't get used right away and by the time I get to them I have no idea where I got them! BUT some vendors know I'm going to do this and help me out - either by sticking a label on the plastic wrapping around the fabric or tucking a business card into the folds of the fabric. I so appreciate this.

That's why I have saved most of the receipts of fabric things I buy online - just so I can find where i bought them, if I need to. But it is so much more helpful to have a card in there with the item.
