Default Burrito pillow problem

Having issue with sewing the cuff on. It's shifting so cuff won't lay flat when I birth it. Had problems cutting the pieces. (Measured wrong TWO times) I wonder if fab is on the bias just a little. Do you thnk this could be the issue? Any way to solve it. It's my first attempt and I don't want the fab to win, if you know what I mean.

Are you asking about the "burrito pillowcase"? There are several videos on Youtube to watch that might help.

I've made pillow cases using this method, and have used fabric on bias for effect. This didn't skew on me. Maybe try a walking foot. You might have pulled the fabric as you sewed...likely to happen if body of case isn't rolled up tight. Do watch video as suggested, and try again 🙂.

Glad you solved your problem. My son-in-law loves to watch the ‘birthing’ so all seams enclosed.-lol He appreciates all my sewing or quilting. I think I made a pdf of my instructions how to embroider on the cuff before you make the pillowcase and end up with the embroidery positioned the right way after birthing. A friend told me she was glad I wrote how and she printed my instructions out bc she said she has ended up with her design upside down before.
