My sister has been having overheating issues with her viking sewing machine. She doesn't have a dealer closer than an hours drive, so has not been to see one. She bought it from someone on Craig's List, but most of it was still wrapped in the original plastic, so most of it had never been used. Shedidn't hear of this Customer Notice from the dealer. I just found it on line lastnight, and her machine fits in the serial numbers listed. Thought maybe others on here had not heard of this issue. Apparantly, it is a problem with the power supply. Hope it helps.

Wow. I remember when these were first recalled. I think the machine was a fairly new release. I hope you can get them fixed. Fire hazards are no fun!
