It is getting to be to much of a battle with the new and old fabric and the LQS. I want to talk about vintage fabric with out the battles that are going on.

Mmmm. Vintage fabric. (as my eyes glaze over with joy). i use barkcloth, vintage cottons, vintage sheets, new sheets. I love it all. I have a little fabric habit. I tend to buy vintage fabrics compulsively.

Is that what you want to talk about?

Well I shouldn't call it a battle but a heavy discushion in one of the fabric subjects. I have lots of old and vintage fabric and want to share and see some of the fabrics everyone has.

I love the vintage and older fabric just like you. I have so much of it from my Mother, Grandmother and I have a large stash of it. Just can't get enough of it. I am going green with quilting and using what I can to make quilts from vintage or what ever I can find.

Okay, what really qualifies as vintage? I have fabric that I have no idea how old it is. It was my mother's. I have six big totes full of this fabric. That reminds me I am so bad I owe Bev some that I promised her before Christmas.....oh my! I'll have to find that again that I pulled and get it out to her! Smacking self!!!!!!! Forgive me Bev!!! Please!!!! Pm me Bev....I don't want to hijack this thread.

Oh, me, too! I only have a few pieces though...hard to find in my area, even old clothes go for pretty high. Where do you find yours?

I get a lot of it from the Goodwill Salvation Army, garage sales auctions and estate sales.
