    vintage Hawaiian fabric

A couple of years ago I got this fabric at a yard sale. There is about 7 yards and it is 35 wide. The printing n the side says Von Hamm Young Cotton poplin. It has a label from Japan that says it is certified color safe.
I am considering making a quilt using just this fabric with white or black kona. Any suggestions? Is this a good idea?
    Pattern ideas?

This place had some quilts done with oriental fabrics. They had a BQ2 & a BQ3 sample quilt.

Those are some pretty designs, Maniac, but I am thinking more about a 2 color quilt.
However, looking up the VHY fabrics online, I might could sell that piece for enough to buy a lot of quilt fabric. It seems that it comes from the 50's or 60's.
Some smaller pieces that are not as pretty seem to be selling for quite a bit.

that is going to be a beautiful quilt...I think I would use the Kona Black incase the red isn't quite color fast.

What about Shenandoah by Creative Solutions? I have a blue & white Hawaiian print that I'm going to use for this pattern.
