Number one on my list is done. I have the top done for the second item on my list. Time to go outside and scrape some ice from the driveway before the next snow arrives.

I am still sitting on the fence as to whether I will do an ES or not. I sort of like the design, just dont like the fabric choices...I want to replace that busy black/white with something else. It drives my eyes crazy on the ones I have seen so far What did you choose for colors? I saw one that someone did with more tone on tone creamy colors to replace the black/white and that was very pretty.

Good luck!

I got frustrated with the pp I am working on, so I am going thru my Farmers Wife CD to choose the blocks for my piece "The Farmers Daughter" I think some of the blocks are just plain yuck and some of the pp instructions for doing them even stranger! LOL

House work is all done except for folding laundry. That can wait, LOL Now I can see how much I can accomplish.

My virtual quilt day list:
1. Finish hexagon pot holders for my grandson's wife
2. Begin 1st Prairie Chicken block
3. Sandwich and pin baste my Judy's Speed Train quilt
4. Sew on the label for my DIL's Fabulous Felines lap quilt

Well, #1 on my list for the day is completed. As always, it took longer than I had anticipated, but the top is complete (except for pressing!) and can go to the long armers on Tuesday. The photo was taken in my driveway -- the sun was so bright and pretty. I didn't realize the wind was slightly blowing -- hence the shoes to hold the corners down. Hope it posts.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong -- keep getting the message that upload failed. I'll keep working on it ...

I have everything completed on my quilt except for the binding. So today I did the FMQ.

Hi Everybody,

I have projects planned, I just can't get going on any of them. Mostly they are applique projects. After spending all day yesterday getting things out and putting them away again, I knew I didn't want to do that today. I also spent a lot of time on the Internet looking for projects and patterns. So I decided to spend a few hours cutting scraps into blocks, today. I cut them into the biggest blocks I could fit out of each scrap. Then I put them into zip bags and labeled them according to size. I love to organize my things so that worked out well and I feel happy that when I am ready to use them the fabric will be ready for me. I hope everyone is having a great day.
