Dede, i might add the sashing of the solid inbetween the blocks on yours, since yours is going to be a dog bed anyhow, the size isnt a big deal, but you are right the two plaids up against each other literally hurts my eyes. If I were doing it, I would add the sashing to give my eyes a rest.
Plus side for me is that we can all see one with sashing,

Dede: Think your right about the additional sashing. Would calm the plaids and give a path for the eye to follow. That being said, the plaids change this pattern completely, what a great dog blanket.

GOOD MORNING! Hope everyone got a good night sleep and awakened today ready to get to work today. I will be around all day in/out the forum.
I do hope everyone is giving their creativity free reign, I have really enjoyed all the different interpretations.

Good a.m.: I have one row of blocks sewn together. Will finish the "top" then try my hand at the quilting. Once it's done will take a pic. Mine's called "Spotted Creamsickles". The rate I'm going, may not finish until tomorrow!
