    Cool Visiting Orlando, FL

    Hi All You Floridans!
In approximately 40 days I will be in Florida to visit MM and DD in Orlando. This time we will have a car. Can anyone suggest any quilt shops/material shops for us to visit that are pretty close to Disney? We would like to get input from the locals.

    Thanks

I don't know about close to Disney, but about 50 miles east is The Quilt Place, in Rockledge. It a large store with very helpful employees. So many fabrics that there's no such thing as a quick stop there for me! LOL

There is a Bernina shop in Kissimmee, FL that also sells material.

I Googled quilt shops in Florida and got a whole list of all the shops in the state. I just came back and went to one in Duneeden and Dade City. These are about an hour from Orlando.
