WA State Veteran's hospital quilt donations

A few years ago I heard saw a link on this site that accepted patriotic quilts & fabric donations for a Veteran's Hospital I believe in WA state. I would like to donate another quilt but I lost the information.
I do not have the finances for a long arm quilter and this organization will accept jut quilt tops.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

I'm sure you don't have to send it all the way to Washington state, although we DO appreciate it! You can contact your local quilt shops, guilds, and veterans organizations in your area. I'm willing to bet that they'd either take the unquilted top, or refer you to someone they know who will quilt and donate it for you.

If you don't find anyone in your area, PM me. I have a nurse friend in the Portland area who quilts tops and donates them to veteran's homes, terminal patients in the hospital, animal shelters, women's shelters, you name it. She will gladly quilt it and pass it on to the recipient of your choice.

We also have a Veteran's hospital at Mather Field by Sacramento. River City Quilter's Guild has a member who organizes quilts for that particular place.
