Bed quilts, but I did one wall hanging a couple of months ago and got great satisfaction in getting it completely finished in a short amount of time. I see more short projects in my future.

I never make any quilts smaller than crib size. Usually all I make now are twin size up to queen, some a little larger. I use my sewing machine for quilting them.

For the wall quilts, do you add a sleeve, or how do you hang them? For me, there is a bettter chance of finishing them - less bulk, everything goes smoother. DH thinks a wallhanging is not really a quilt -HUMPH! What does HE know?? He is not a quilter!!! hahaha

I make a hanging sleeve, then cut it in half, hem the short ends back up, then insert a dowel rod, the little opening is where I hang the quilt from. Does that make sense?

Wall and lap size quilts. I use the hanging sleeve for the wall quilts.

I'm working on my first wall hanging! I've done several baby quilts, but mostly bed size ( queens and a few king size) quilts. One of these days I'll make something for me and keep it. My list of to do's needs to get smaller before that happens, lol!!
