Wall hanging on my embroidery machine

I am embroidering quilt blocks to put in a wall hanging and am having trouble with the design not lining up properly. It is a 5.8" x 5.8" design, however it keeps stitching out 5.8"x 5" and some of the design is overlapping. I am using a medium cutaway stabilizer as suggested. I have tried twice with the same problem, don't want to waste anymore fabric

Maybe it's the design, not you. Just a thought

I agree with pattypurple. They always advise doing a test stitch out to make sure the design isn't messed up. I would hoop some muslin and advance the design to where it started to overlap. If it does it on your test piece, I would contact the digitizer.

Did you shut it all down and start from the begging again! Maybe rebooting it all would reset the design correctly.

that has happened to me when the hoop was too close to the wall... hitting the wall threw the pattern off... just another thought
