I use to have to buy from Walmart but just this past week I found out about a Quilting and fabric shop right here in my own town. I had never heard about her before. I thought that I had died and went to heaven. She absolutely has beautiful quilting material and fair prices. I have been there 4 times in a week. Love It!

lgeorge, that's what I'm looking for -- a quilt shop. I know of one about 30 miles away, but there's got to be something closer. Anyone know of anything in South Louisiana?

FYI We were on a trip last week and stopped in North Platte, Nebraska, for the night. Needed some things so went to WM and found they had lots of fabric. Cranston which I have used a lot. Also had fat quarters 8/$10.00. I got one package which was batik pattern, printed very bright colors so I am looking for a quilt pattern to use them.

The local Walmart carries a pretty good line of flannel at a reasonable price.
Say has your DGS been leading a little Holstein around? Two oldest grands just showed heifers in the bucket class at our county fair last week.

We went to a farm for breakfast , to celebrate Dairy month . He was just standing by it for the pic. He got to hold a rabbit and a baby chick. He looked up at me and asked, " Can I keep it?" I SO wanted to say yes.
