Hey all,

Hobby Lobby has 30% off fabrics, not that they have the best selection but a good time to stock up on the basics....

40% off coupon online for regular priced items (I bought myself a new cutting mat) http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/coupons/coupon.cfm

and 50% off all Dritz notions and sewing supplies!! I was looking for applique pins, but didn't find them there so I just picked up some new needles for hand quilting and for my machine.

The hobby lobby near my house is horrible for fabric, i wouldn't use any of the material. I remember the one across town being better, i might have to go and check them out.

rayone,
you're right, you do have to overlook some junkie stuff no matter which one you go to. Many of the fabrics are from China/Korea and are not the quality American cottons we prefer but with a careful eye, you can spot a great deal!

Thanks for the coupon.
My Hobby Lobby has some good fabrics.
Not a big department but good prices.
One fabric that I love and have used over and over in Christmas and quilts for soldiers is a very small beige and red star print that is perfect for backgrds. they have had this fabric for over a year and I keep going back for more. It only costs 3 dollars a yrd.
