Default Want to resize a block

I am having trouble downsizing a block and getting the right measurements for the pieces. I am trying to get the Barn Raising block down to a 2" block. I just can't seam to get it right. Being an old girl,I don't have all the fancy programs that could do this calulation for me. There is just to much to search through on line to get to anything I need. I have myself so mind-block I can't see straight. I have never tried to resize a block before. Here's a shout out for help. The one pictured is 5 1/2" sq.
Thanks in advance for any takers on this one.

draw the finished size on graft paper and add seam allowances to each piece.

Do you mean that what we see in the picture should be a total of 2" finished?

for that block to be done at 2" you need to paper piece it!

I agree with Jackie that paper piecing is the only way to go. Some the pieces will be under 1".

I found this table too and couldn't figure it out. I got as far as reducing 40% but then what is the formula for figuring the size of the pieces for the block? that is my big conundrum! Thank for the help.

Love Ya! You had just what I needed. It worked out great! All the other tips were great as well. I am only making 4 blocks at this point so I didn't want to do a whole lot of work to get to the end. If my idea works I will have a very cool Wall hanging and can't wait to post !!!!!
Thank you and peace to all!!!!!
