I am interested in finding a 12 point star quilt pattern. I can find 6 and 8 point, but no 12. I'd love to get a lead, or photo of some you've seen.

I googled it also and can not find one. Maybe someone else knows or maybe can lead you thru drafting one.

This site has free 12 point and even 16 point star patterns.

Did you check Quilters Cache? If they don't have it, it doesn't exist.

I was hoping more for a longer spiked star. I'm thinking of each point being a "month" of the clock. It will probably be papepieced.

I'm wondering if you should be looking at mariner's compass patterns. Judy Mathieson has a computer CD with tons of different patterns on it. Here is a link to one of her books:

I had the word "star" stuck in my brain, and I think that I need to look closer at Mariners compass. Thanx for thinking for me!
